Dame Dash has his new label jumpin’ off called BlackRoc and from what I’ve been seeing on the ‘net lately the songs his artits have been spittin’ out is hot to death. I don’t know if Mos Def is signed to Dame’s new label but he’s been doing a lot of recording with him. Dame Dash Doin’ Is Back In The Game With New Black Roc Label

Dame Dash has a new label called BlackRoc and he’s doin’ some big thangs with it. They BlackRoc label is on some rock-soul-funk type shit. The first release will be from the rock band Black Keys and from the sound of it they’re bringing some fiyah music to the game. Their new album is featuring everybody from Mos Def to Q-Tip to Jim Jones and every hip hop artist in between. I posted the album trailer and some footage of Dame, Black Keys, and Mos Def in the studio.

On a side note tho, Onyx was on Satellite radio the other day goin’ hard at Dame Dash claiming that he jacked the name of their underground rock group. They’re saying that they were already using the name BlackRoc. I dunno how true this is but this is why niggas need to make sure they trademark their work so they don’t have come up off of thousands in court tryna win the right to their own shit back.
