6 Arrested For Protesting Lil Wayne’s & Lil Boosie’s Prison Sentences In The White Folks Part Of Town In N.O.
Yesterday during the Saints vs. Patriots game in the N.O. six men took it upon themselves to protest the sentences that were recently thrown at Louisiana’s own, Lil Wayne and Lil Boosie. The protesters spray painted “Free Lil Wayne and Lil Boosie” on the side of an expensive French Quarter building and they posted a sign saying the same thing on another French Quarter block. For yall that don’t know, the New Orleans French Quarters is the White folks’ part of town and it is also the spot where hundreds of thousands of tourists frequent every year.
Mardi Gras, the Bayou Classic, the Sugar Bowl, and many other events take place in this section of New Orleans. I feel where the protesters were comin’ from becuz I think the sentences Weezy and Boosie got is some bullshit. But what the fuck wuz these niggas thinkin?!!! You can’t just ruin that expensive ass property and get away with it! Damn people…c’mon we gotta think! Yall know the government only lets us get away with that kinda shit in our own neighborhoods…the hood! LOL. Read more about this below.
Six people were arrested by the New Orleans Police Department Monday after allegedly spray-painting graffiti on a building in the French Quarter during an apparent protest over the incarceration of several local rap artists, according to police.
Off-duty police officers saw the suspects spray-painting “Free Lil Wayne” on the side of a building in the 900 block of Conti Street around 9 p.m. and notified the NOPD, according to spokesman Janssen Valencia.
Lil Wayne performs at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los AngelesNew Orleans born rap star Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter, pleaded guilty in October to attempted weapons possession and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence. He is currently out on bond. The men also placed a banner across Royal and Canal streets calling on authorities to release Torrence “Lil Boosie” Hatch, a Baton Rouge rapper who pleaded guilty in September to a marijuana possession charge and is currently in prison. The group also placed police barricades and metal garbage cans in the 100 block of Burgundy to halt traffic.
When officers arrived, the suspects fled but were apprehended nearby, Valencia said. The six subjects were charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest by flight and criminal damage to property.
Three of the suspects were listed as homeless, two were from Monroe and the third from Pennsylvania.

Lil Boosie’s Last Interview Before Serving 10 Year Sentence
Lil Boosie got hit with a 10 year sentence for probation violation and weed possession in Baton Rouge, La. Although I think Lil Boosie should have kept himself outta trouble knowing he was on probation, I can’t help but focus on the 10 YEARS the judge gave this man for having a lil weed in his car, not weed with the intent to distribute, Lil Boosie only allegedly had just enough for one man to get a lil buzz off of! This some bullshit! But for those who don’t know, Louisiana is one of the most racist states in the country, I know I’m from there (N.O. stand up!). That judge was not tryna take it lightly on a Black man who is clearly tryna do something positive with his life and staying out of the streets. They would rather throw this harsh ass sentence at Lil Boosie to prove a point. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying Boosie shouldn’t have gotten any time, 5-6 months maybe- but 10 mufuckin’ years?!!! C’mon now they know that ain’t right.
Check out Lil Boosie’s last interview before he headed to the pen’ yesterday.

Lil Boosie Recording Album With Young Jeezy Before Prison Term
Looks like Lil Boosie learned a lesson from T.I. on how to stack paper before starting your prison term. Boosie says he’s in the studio bangin’ out a new album and a new mixtape with Young Jeezy. I’m glad this man is staying focused and keepin’ his head in the game in the midst of this bullshit ass prison sentence he gotta serve. Keep ya’ head up Lil Boosie we see U!
“I need y’all to know that I am still recording and working on a new record that will come out Fall 2010 and I plan to be home in time to promote it. I am also in the studio working on a new mix tape with Young Jeezy and set to release the movie, Ghetto Stories: The Movie by the end of the year. Y’all ain’t ‘gon miss me. Believe that.”
“I am grateful to God and all my fans out there that supported me all these years,†says Lil Boosie. “I do this for y’all all day, everyday.â€

Damn Another Rapper Down: Lil Boosie Pleads Guilty, Gets 2 Years
Lil Boosie plead guilty yesterday to a gun charge and a weed charge. The judge gave him 2 years for that bullshit. I hate to see people go down for shit like this. I believe that the law enforcement needs to spend most of their energy on actually solving major crimes like murders of Black men instead of lockin’ niggas up for smokin’ a lil weed and carrying a gun to protect themselves. I’m from New Orleans, the murder capital of the US, where murders rarely get solved. Niggas is droppin’ like flies but yet the incompetent governing body would prefer to chase niggas who smoke weed and on top of that give ‘em 2 years for that bullshit! Are you kidding me?!! The White folks out there are racist than a muthafucka and this is where Lil Boosie and C-Murder have to have their troials.
